# Sell on Newegg

Newegg is a tech-focused marketplace with a shopper base that already searches for the categories cross-border sellers know best — electronics, computer hardware, and consumer tech. Opening a Newegg storefront is a natural extension for sellers already running Amazon, eBay, or Walmart shops.

!!! note "New-seller offer: 6% effective commission rate"
New sellers can get a **6% effective commission rate** for their **first 90 days** on Newegg. This is a **limited-time promotion** — terms, eligibility, and duration can change, so treat [Newegg's official seller page](https://www.niceggie.com/en/sell-on-newegg) as the authoritative source before you commit.

## Why sell on Newegg

- 🖥️ **Tech-focused shopper base** — buyers actively searching for electronics and computer hardware, not a generic marketplace audience
- 📦 **Shipped By Newegg (SBN) fulfillment** — hand off storage, packing, and shipping the same way you would with a 3PL or FBA-style program
- 📣 **Advertising + brand storefront tools** — sponsored placements and a branded storefront to build repeat buyers instead of one-off orders
- 🚀 **Start selling in about 5 business days** — a fast path from application to your first live listing

## Onboarding steps

1. **Register & apply** — create a seller account and submit your application for review
2. **Upload products** — list your catalog with titles, images, and pricing
3. **Choose fulfillment** — pick self-fulfillment or Shipped By Newegg (SBN)
4. **Payouts** — get paid on a regular settlement cycle once orders start shipping

## Ramp up faster

- **[Listing AI](https://www.niceggie.com/helpcenter/en/ai-team/listing/)** — diagnose and rewrite your Newegg listings before you go live, so your first listings launch optimized instead of needing a rewrite later
- **Newegg Seller Academy** — Newegg's own onboarding course and reference library for policies, fulfillment, and advertising — start at [Newegg's official seller page](https://www.niceggie.com/en/sell-on-newegg)
