- 4Fees increase for some large and oversized products
- 5Low-margin and oversized products are more affected
What happened?
An Amazon Seller Central announcement states that 2026 peak-season FBA fulfillment fees will apply from October 15, 2026, through January 14, 2027. The fees cover U.S. and Canadian FBA, Remote Fulfillment from the U.S. to Canada and Mexico, MCF in the U.S. and Canada, and Buy with Prime in the U.S. Fees are calculated based on the date the goods actually ship from the fulfillment center. Therefore, even if a customer places an order before October 15, the peak-season fee will apply if the product ships on or after October 15. The announcement lists fee changes across multiple size and price ranges, with some large and oversized products increasing by several dozen cents to several dollars per unit during the peak season. Sellers of low-margin, oversized, heavy, seasonal products and sellers with long cross-border replenishment cycles will be most affected.
What does this mean for cross-border sellers?
From October 15 through January 14, 2027, applicable FBA and cross-border fulfillment fees will be calculated based on the actual shipment date, so products ordered before October 15 but shipped later may still incur peak-season fees.
