Amazon to Raise Europe FBA Surcharge to 2% on November 2
Amazon will raise the FBA fuel and logistics surcharge across multiple European marketplaces from 1.5% to 2%, effective November 2, 2026.
What are the key facts?
- 1FBA surcharge across multiple European marketplaces rising from 1.5% to 2%
- 2New rate effective November 2, 2026
- 3Surcharge calculated on the FBA fulfillment fee
- 4MCF increase planned in some European countries on November 19
What happened?
Amazon announced that FBA fulfillment fees in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Belgium will be subject to a 2% fuel and logistics surcharge from November 2, 2026, up from 1.5%. The surcharge is calculated on the FBA fulfillment fee, not the product selling price. Amazon said the average increase will be approximately £0.02/€0.02 per item, but the actual impact on large, bulky, and apparel items will vary by size and weight. The change affects sellers in China and the UK using European FBA, as well as sellers distributing from EU warehouses to multiple marketplaces. In addition, the corresponding MCF increase in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain is scheduled to take effect on November 19.
What does this mean for cross-border sellers?
The FBA fuel and logistics surcharge across multiple European marketplaces will rise from 1.5% to 2% and will be calculated on the FBA fulfillment fee, directly reducing per-order margins. Separately assess the impact on large, bulky, apparel, and low-priced SKUs, and monitor the MCF fee adjustment in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain on November 19.
