What happened?
In accordance with local regulatory requirements, TikTok Shop Vietnam has mandated that starting July 1, all new sellers (including individuals, sole proprietors, and businesses) must use a mobile device with NFC capability to scan their 12-digit national ID cards with embedded chips for authentication. Older ID cards without chips will no longer be accepted.
