What happened?
Amazon U.S. announced that, from July 8, 2026, imported consumer products under CPSC oversight must have their General Certificate of Conformity (GCC)/Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) electronically filed through the CBP ACE system or the official CPSC system before the goods arrive at customs. Foreign-trade-zone (FTZ) goods will receive a grace period until January 8, 2027. Sellers must verify ASIN compliance and prepare seven items of information, including the product ID, regulation code, manufacturer information, and laboratory test data.
