eBay Japan previously announced that, due to changes in U.S. import policy, sellers must use DDP shipping for certain orders shipped from Japan to the United States when the item price is below $2,500 excluding shipping. Under DDP, the seller or logistics provider handles duties and taxes in the destination country, so the buyer does not make an additional payment upon delivery.
