eBay UK Introduces “Easy Free Returns” Policy for Auto Parts
eBay UK has introduced an “Easy Free Returns” program for the auto-parts category.
What are the key facts?
- 1Applies to auto parts on eBay UK
- 2Order value must exceed £10
- 3Free returns within 30 days
What happened?
eBay UK announced that buyers can receive free returns within 30 days for eligible auto-parts categories. The policy applies to new items priced above £10 and aims to increase conversion by lowering the barrier to returns. eBay will support sellers in implementing the policy by providing free return labels and other measures.
What does this mean for cross-border sellers?
Sellers in the auto-parts category should immediately check their return settings to ensure platform compliance. Although free returns increase operating costs, they can significantly improve conversion; reduce return rates by optimizing product descriptions and fitment tools.
