What happened?
Newegg confirmed that its annual summer sale, FantasTech, will begin on June 22 and cover the United States and Canada sites. During the event, the platform will offer a price-protection policy: if an item’s price falls further during the promotion, the system will automatically process a refund for the difference. The measure is intended to increase consumer confidence and stimulate sales growth.
What does this mean for cross-border sellers?
Electronics sellers on Newegg should prepare inventory and submit promotions in advance. Under the platform’s price-protection mechanism, maintain competitive pricing to manage traffic fluctuations during the sale.
