- 3Creators need a CHR above 150 to participate in livestream auctions

What happened?
TikTok Shop updated its U.S. LIVE Auction operating and eligibility guidance. Sellers participating in livestream auctions generally need to remain in good standing and have an account health rating (AHR) above 150, while creators need a creator health rating (CHR) above 150. Before going live, sellers should verify that product information, inventory, permissions, and physical products match. Auction products may use either approved regular products or temporary livestream Listings. The platform also stated that automatic package consolidation may currently be unavailable when international sellers ship through international logistics. Temporary Listings do not sync to TikTok Shop stores or Shopify and must be recreated after the livestream ends. Some orders support video receipts, buyer payment preauthorization, and livestream event binding, but these functions are not available to all accounts. Affected sellers include cross-border livestream sellers, collectibles and secondhand-goods sellers, jewelry sellers, and merchants that rely on auctions to clear inventory.
What does this mean for cross-border sellers?
LIVE Auction eligibility on TikTok Shop U.S. depends more heavily on account health ratings: sellers need an AHR above 150 and creators need a CHR above 150; accounts below the threshold may be unable to activate the feature. Cross-border sellers should also note that automatic package consolidation may be unavailable for international logistics, and temporary Listings do not sync to the store or Shopify and must be recreated after the livestream.
What should sellers do now?
- 1This week, check the U.S. seller AHR and partner creator CHR separately, confirm that each is above 150, create an account, permissions, and ratings tracking sheet for livestream auctions, and retain the verification results.Creator Outreach
- 2For collectibles, secondhand goods, jewelry, and inventory-clearance Listings planned for auction, verify product information, inventory, auction permissions, and physical products item by item, and create a pre-livestream checklist.Listing character checker
- 3For international-logistics orders, separately check whether automatic package consolidation is available, and record the responsible person and completion status for recreating temporary Listings in the TikTok Shop store or Shopify after they end.Dimensional weight
