Amazon A+ pages are built from multiple modules, but generation tools hand back one long image. Uploading means manually cropping each module and matching sizes — five or six crops per image, easy to cut crooked or the wrong size.
This tool finds the gap bands between modules automatically and cuts through the middle of each one, splitting the long image into individually uploadable module files. How does it detect module boundaries?
A+ long images usually have a solid-color (often white) gap between modules. The tool scans row by row for rows that are nearly one color, filters out gaps that are too narrow or too wide, and cuts through the middle of what's left. So it's most accurate when modules actually have whitespace between them.
What if detection isn't accurate?
There's nothing to tune — internally, several detection strictness levels are tried and the best one is kept automatically, with a quality note (high/fair/low) and the reason. If the result isn't right, click to add a cut, drag to align it, or click × to delete one; you can also re-detect or clear all cuts and start over. Manual adjustment is always the final word.
What if modules are joined with no gap at all?
With no whitespace there's no gap to detect, so automatic detection may find zero cuts. When that happens, just click the image to add a cut line at each module boundary — manual placement always works, gap or no gap.
Does splitting reduce image quality?
As little as possible: PNG sources are cropped losslessly; JPEG sources are re-encoded at high quality (JPEG is lossy by nature, so byte-exact losslessness isn't possible there). Only pixel-exact cropping is applied — no extra compression.
Is my image uploaded to your servers?
No. Detection and cropping happen entirely in your own browser — not a single byte of your image ever leaves your computer.
