What happened?
Amazon’s Seller Central fee information confirms that 2026 holiday peak fulfillment fees will apply from October 15, 2026, through January 14, 2027. The scope includes U.S. FBA; Remote Fulfillment with FBA from the U.S. to Canada and Mexico; Multi-Channel Fulfillment in the U.S. and Canada; and Buy with Prime in the U.S. The page does not publish a single fee-increase percentage. Instead, it states that the applicable peak rate card will be used by size, weight, and fulfillment program, with an additional charge per unit. The average per-unit increase is similar to the adjustment from non-peak to peak rates in the previous year. In addition, U.S. and Canadian FBA and some Remote Fulfillment services have already been subject to a 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge. The main affected sellers are those using FBA, MCF, Buy with Prime, or cross-border Remote Fulfillment, particularly sellers handling large items, low-margin products, seasonal inventory, or multi-channel fulfillment.
What does this mean for cross-border sellers?
From October 15, 2026, through January 14, 2027, applicable U.S. and Canadian FBA, Remote Fulfillment, and multi-channel fulfillment services will add peak fulfillment fees based on size, weight, and fulfillment program. Some services already carry a 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge. Sellers of large items, low-margin products, seasonal inventory, and multi-channel businesses should recalculate per-unit profit and inventory timing before the peak period.
