TikTok Shop UK Launches Subscribe & Save Feature
Subscribe & Save allows sellers to offer 5% to 20% discounts on repeat-purchase products across multiple categories.
What are the key facts?
- 1Four subscription discount tiers
- 2Currently covers 11 categories
- 3Best suited to periodically repurchased products
What happened?
TikTok Shop UK announced the Subscribe & Save feature on September 10, 2026. Sellers can set subscription discounts of 5%, 10%, 15%, or 20% for products purchased repeatedly. Eligible categories currently include Automotive and Motorcycles, Baby, Beauty and Personal Care, Books, Computers and Office Equipment, Food and Beverages, Health, Home Improvement, Home Supplies, Luggage and Bags, Pet Supplies, and Phones and Electronics. The tool is more suitable for consumables, refills, daily-care products, and products purchased periodically, and is less suitable for products with high return rates, short lifecycles, or significant price volatility. Cross-border sellers need to calculate subscription discounts together with creator commissions, platform service fees, UK VAT, after-sales refunds, and recurring fulfilment costs, and clarify the price-lock rules for subscription orders to reduce the risk of losses caused by changes in procurement costs.
What does this mean for cross-border sellers?
Subscribe & Save suits periodically repurchased products such as food and beverages, health products, beauty and personal care items, and pet supplies. Sellers can set subscription discounts of 5%, 10%, 15%, or 20% to encourage repeat purchases, but should calculate creator commissions, platform service fees, UK VAT, refunds, fulfilment costs, and subscription-order price-lock rules together to avoid per-order losses if procurement costs rise.

- 3This week, review UK Listings planned for subscription, record subscription-order price-lock rules, procurement costs, and fulfilment cycles, and create a price review sheet for each product; suspend the relevant discount tier if there is a risk of rising costs.Procurement List
