What happened?
TikTok Shop US has announced a Q4 2026 Seller LIVE Auction transaction-fee reduction policy, effective from October 1 through December 31, 2026, Pacific Time. Eligible US live-auction sellers must use Seller LIVE Auction and set a $1 starting bid to receive the reduced transaction fees. Eligible new auction sellers will be charged 4%, while some existing sellers who meet high-value product and seller-tier requirements will be charged 3%. The policy categorizes sellers based on their last-30-day Seller LIVE GMV, shop SPS, and whether they have a record of continuous subsidies. Some T0 to T2 sellers must have last-30-day live GMV below $65,000; T3 to T5 sellers must meet conditions such as having no auction history or zero recent auction GMV. Regular live orders, non-auction orders, violating shops, and orders that do not pass policy review are not eligible for the discount. The policy covers sellers using live bidding for collectibles, fashion, electronics, and other categories.
What does this mean for cross-border sellers?
From October 1 through December 31, 2026, eligible US Seller LIVE Auction orders can be charged at 4% or 3%, while regular live and non-auction orders are excluded. Sellers should monitor L30D Seller LIVE GMV, shop SPS, auction history, and the $1 starting-bid setting, or they may fail to qualify for the reduced rate.
