What He Does

Max is your resident financial analyst. Send him your complete cost data and he calculates:

  • Per-SKU true profit: after ads, referral fees, returns, and storage — what each SKU actually earns
  • Loss attribution: for SKUs losing money, exactly where the leak is — ads, fees, return rate, dead stock?
  • Ad-ROI diagnosis: is your ad spend pulling its weight? Which SKUs are over-indexed on ads?
  • Price-match / repricing simulation: when Scott suggests matching a competitor's drop, Max immediately projects the margin impact
  • Monthly profit report: at the start of each month, auto-generated last-month total revenue, real profit, margin, and a list of losing SKUs

How to Use Him

  1. Reserve beta access with your email.
  2. Upload cost data: in the Niceggie dashboard, enter per-SKU sourcing cost, inbound freight, referral rate, ad budget, and other baseline parameters.
  3. Sync ad reports: periodically export Seller Central ad reports / business reports (CSV) to Max.
  4. Receive monthly reports: at the start of each month Max auto-generates last month's profit report; priority SKUs land in "Awaiting your call".
  5. Ad-hoc calculations: before matching a competitor, changing ad budget, or pricing a new SKU, ask Max to simulate the margin impact.

Collaboration with the Rest of the Team

  • Scott suggests price-match → Max runs the numbers: "Cutting $7 means ~$3,500 monthly profit drop, but ~30% volume lift → net +$2,000. Recommend execute."
  • Mira suggests proactive reshipping to head off bad reviews → Max compares reshipping cost vs ranking-damage cost
  • Leo rewrites a listing → Max tracks the SKU's margin afterward to verify the optimization

Data Sources & Safety

Max only receives numbers you actively send (costs, ad reports, etc.), returns the result, and stops.

Calculations happen at the request level. Once processed, data is not written to long-term storage.
